We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Seoul National University’s RISE project team to connect regional innovation, university research, and global entrepreneurship. We announced the agreement on February 23, 2026.
The collaboration focuses on university-industry-research cooperation, innovation talent development, and education programs for globally oriented startups. It brings SNU RISE’s regional innovation capabilities together with 2080’s experience supporting companies across markets.
Planned areas of work include joint research, exchange of technical information, industry-linked technology demonstrations, and commercialization. Our role includes providing international market analysis and practical feedback to help teams assess how their technologies could reach customers beyond Korea.
The agreement was represented by Sun Choi, Co-Founder of 2080 Ventures, and Professor Sungwoo Kim, responsible for global industry-academic cooperation at SNU RISE.
